Cannes Lions may have started life as an advertising festival, but earned ideas now unequivocally dominate Lions-winning work by agencies from all geographies and all disciplines, including PR. PRovoke Media editorial team has been covering Cannes Lions on the ground for over a decade, while ICCO has been bringing together the PR community at Cannes Lions for seven years.
For 2021, we’re elevating our joint presence at the Festival of Creativity to reflect this broader earned universe, and PR’s rightful place at its centre. And we’re looking for likeminded partners to join us. Together, we’re planning a must-attend fringe programme of lively, high quality sessions (with fantastic speakers), close to the heart of the action in Cannes, that really gets to grips with the world of earned media and the future of communications.
